I am proficient in tools like Google Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, Storyline Articulate 360, and Genially. I’ve used these platforms to design lessons, student-facing slideshows, differentiated worksheets, supplemental activities, assessments, and teacher guides. My work balances clear instructional design with visual engagement to support learners across multiple content areas.

Technology Tools & Digital Content Creation

Learning Management Systems (LMS)

I’ve designed and managed curriculum within Canvas, Seesaw, and Schoology, creating modules with videos, assignments, discussions, and assessments. I also integrated tools like Reading A-Z, BrainPOP, and IXL Learning to enhance engagement, differentiate instruction, and support skill development. My focus is on building accessible, user-friendly experiences for both students and teachers.

Project Management

As a teacher and literacy lead, I managed school-wide instructional initiatives, including the rollout of two new curricula and the implementation of key resources. I was the go-to person for my team and others, sharing updates, modeling lessons, and supporting curriculum use. While teaching full time and learning new programs, I also created resources across all content areas to meet the needs of both students and colleagues. I ensured timelines were met and kept projects organized, collaborative, and focused on student success.

I design standards-aligned lessons and units that reflect academic goals, student interests, and real-world relevance. Many of my resources have been successfully utilized across schools and classrooms, supporting a wide range of learners. My planning process begins with brainstorming and goal-setting, followed by storyboarding, content mapping, and aligning resources to standards. I focus on clarity, progression, and meaningful learning experiences, ensuring each piece builds toward purposeful, engaging instruction.

Curriculum Design & Instructional Planning

Clear, empathetic communication is central to my work as both an educator and leader. I prioritize transparency, active listening, and purposeful dialogue—whether facilitating meetings, sharing curriculum updates with my fourth-grade team, supporting colleagues, maintaining consistent communication with families, or collaborating across grade levels. My ability to synthesize information and communicate effectively helps build trust, strengthen relationships, and ensure shared goals are understood and achieved.

Communication

As a literacy lead and trusted mentor in my school, I’ve supported fellow teachers with planning, instruction, and resource development across content areas. This year alone, I’ve been recognized more than 10 times by my district for leadership, creativity, and instructional impact. I thrive in collaborative environments and am consistently recognized for my ability to foster teamwork, share ideas, and elevate team success. My instructional expertise and high-quality materials have made me a go-to resource among colleagues.
